I use Moviestorm http://www.simurl.com/moviestorm its completely FREE!
I also use http://www.simurl.com/iclone its basically the same as Moviestorm but has a ton of more features and props.
I use Royality Free Music for music and sound effects
Below is Amazon stuff I have gotten and the Machinima for Dummies because I think its the best book out there. I also use Pinnicle to edit, lots of features and very easy to use.
